Description

The AP 1120 terminal adapter rounds out the product family and now enables connection to a HiPath 4000 V3.0 and HiPath 8000 V2.0.

The AP 1120 terminal adapter supports the common codecs (G.711, G.723, G.729A) and FAX protocols (T.30 and T.38). For voice, the release only applies to basic call via G.711. The "Unit Manager Network (UMN) administration software is included for administration and configuration purposes.

The AP 1120 terminal adapter can be used to attach group 3 fax equipment, modems and/or conventional analog telephones to a HiPath VoIP network by means of the following protocols:

H.323 protocol for connection to a HiPath 3000/5000 VoIP network
CorNet-IP protocol for connection to a HiPath 4000 V2.0/V3.0 VoIP network
SIP protocol for connection to a HiPath 8000 V1.0/V2.0 VoIP network
